Does anyone know why Tunisia blocked YouTube?

The main YouTube site (http://www.youtube.com) has been blocked since 2 November 2007 here in Tunisia, but we were still able to access it through the international sites. As of 18 February 2008 Tunisia has also blocked access to all international sites, except two (I hope the government doesn't find out we are able to access from these sites!):

http://tw.youtube.com/

Does anyone know WHY Tunisia blocked YouTube? And does anyone know if the block is temporary or permanent?

It is permanent for a start till a new day arrives to your country meaning the government changes or Zain Al Abidin decides to take a hike (if he is ever going to do so)

Why ?
here it is :
1 - Some Anti Regime people are circulating some videos on youtube.com about the current regime corruption

2 - Some Islamic radicalisms were pushing this issue as to respond to Anti Islamic posted materials

You have a very beautiful country ( I have visited once) but the problem as it is in the Arab world , old regimes are so tight to the damn throne that they are banning everything that comes to mind thinking that they will last .. but a new day will come .. It is because of anti islamic content on Youtube

Probably because of the Dutch making a documentary thats critical of Islam.

Sry. i dunno but u might be able to use sum unblocking websites

Most probably because of some anti islam material at youtube. It remained blocked in Pakistan (my country) for a couple of days and they opened it back after youtube removed the anti islam content.

i think the above answereer are right........In getneral Islamic conutries are way more conservitive in areas of religious critisim and sexual content
