Is youtube the enemy of multiple copyright infringement voliations?

While resarching, I did notice many videos that was upload. However, I became quite disturbed.

When seeing the detail through news and events, just about no credit were given. At first it was no biggy until I notice that there are multiple copyright problems most of what I notice were stolen from many flash sites. It seem like the authors created the flashes and months later, members from Youtube record it and uploaded on youtube claiming it theres.
The majority source of where they were stolen from is a site called Newgrounds. Many of my groups search and discovered an estimated 30% flashes were stolen and wern't even given credit and there over a million flash submissions at multiple flash hosting sites all together, so this is serious.

What's more errie is that some are copying other member's work and claiming them as there own also. Not just these are affected, sports events, news, media, PPV, legal issues, User made videos, and...everything.

Why do many does this?

YouTube disclaims legal responsibility for abuse like that.

It is the users' faults.

Typically, the firm or org. that is victimized by the copyright infringers will not pursue any legal action against them, but it varies.

Most of the time, they will simply report the issue to YouTube, and YouTube will delete the violator's account.

Why do they do it? Because it's an easy way to collect "views" on their profile. Think about it, you're much more likely to watch something that's sponsored by a major tv network than what 2 kids shot in their basement, right? That's why it happens. It's easy to do.

there not selling the videos only sharing them

here is an example
if a friend comes over to watch a movie with you is that illegal? nope

you tube is just basically the same

youtube have a complaint form, just click flag and then report it for a copyright violation

because of the size of youtube they need the support of members and then youtube community to flag inappropriate/copyright material, the more people who flag it the quicker it is reviewed by youtube staff
--------------------------------------...
yes i also see this and think its a disgrace that people do this, but thats why i flag them when i see them

this is not want youtube is intended for, and youtube will suspend a users account for ever if they have two videos removed for copyright

You are absolutely right. Even though you are sharing the video, you should credit the original creator, and if you made the video yourself you should credit any clips used.

People who dont do this are despicable.

If you see something that you know does not belong to that person, you can submit a copyright infringement. I have had videos stolen from me by people who were uploading them to money making video sites. All a person has to do is submit the proper information that they are the legal owner of a video and most video sites will take the video down. It is not legal to upload a video made by someone else. When you see people that have clips of CNN or Oprah, etc. on their site, they are in violation of copyright infringement.
