I have found a you tube video and I don't know where to put it.?

with the code I recieved will it show as a link to the video or show video screen?

There are usually two codes under the video description; one reads "link" and the other "embed". The link simply is a link; when pasted on a website, if it's clicked, it'll take you to the video on YouTube.
The embed code, however, must be pasted into the HTML of the website; not just into where you write stuff. This code will show what you mean by a video screen; you'll be able to play the video in the page, instead of having to make a trip to YouTube to see it.
