According to Nielsen/NetRatings, weekly U.S. Web traffic to youtube.com grew from 7.3 to 12.8 million unique visitors the week ending July 16. Between January and June 2006, a larger audience spent more time looking at more YouTube pages. The YouTube audience is currently 60/40 male. Visitors between 12-17 years of age are nearly 1.5 times more likely to visit YouTube than the average Web user.
