Why does You Tube say I'm ineligible to join?

When I tried to sign up at You Tube, I received a message that I was ineligible to join based on the information I submitted. I am over 21 and responded truthfully to all information requested.

Why?

Try using your ISP email address to register instead of your search engine email. That's what worked for me.

not sure...keep trying.make sure you dont have to have certain things in the password.

retry it you may have spelling errors

did you eneter an email and if you did and it dident work then you already have an acount with that email or you made too many acounts or the username is alreadytaken

It doesn't sound like an error with the information you submitted. I would make sure that you didn't have an account before that violated their terms of service or that someone else didn't use your information to make an account (someone who has access to your email and what have you) and violate the TOS with youtube. This is a very good possibility of why they are telling you that based on the information you provided you are ineligible. Go to this link and it should help you. Based on youtube's help center it looks like there was a violation of the TOS.
