Youtube closed down?

did youtube get closed? it wont load

They are updating their site. It should be up and working in about 1 - 2 hours.

I don't think that will happen.

Works here..could be a local server in your area down. give it while. Im sure it will come back.

If Its not working for you, They are undergoing maintenance or whatever there doing over there, but it should be back up and running in 1 - 2 Hours...

Yeah, I think it's under maintenance and updates and stuff right now. Don't worry, I'm having the same problem. It should be back up in 1 or 2 hours hopefully. :D

...I'm not sure, but it might be because of the ebay strike? thousands of people are signing onto youtube and making videos to boycott some new rule in Ebay so maybe the fact that so many new people are all signing on at once is slowing the system down...

yup i have been trying all day and this mst be a lage maintenence because a) its usually only a few hours and its been a LONG time and b) the entire site isnt working like i cant even get to it usually its just slow butt..... it will be back so dont worry even thoough i wish it would come back faster!

there probably making up grades to the site, it's done this before.

I read that it had been blocked until further notice. Something to do with a few videos being posted on there that shouldnt have been and all ISP's have been ordered to block the site until it has been sorted out.
