Why cant i get on youtube?

it keeps sending me to a search engine with youtube links but even when i c\lick on the link it says page cannot be displayed

thank god im not the only one

A few days ago the Pakistan government ordered all Pakistan ISPs to block YouTube for containing blasphemous content. To do this, one of the Pakistan ISPs published fake routing information to direct requests for youtube.com to their own servers, thus blocking them. However, they accidentally forwarded this fake routing information to Hong Kong, which then propagated around the world, causing everyone to be directed along the fake route rather than the real one to youtube.com. YouTube was "down" for about 2-3 hours before the technicians managed to get it sorted out. This might well have been what caused the outage for you, and others.

youtube is down for updates. See the othe million of post on yahoo already! There is a search bar.

I can't get on YouTube either. It must be a system glitch!

the site is temporary down due to upgrading and yes someting it pretty trick to send you to another site. so just give it a little while. Matt

wow thats wierd...its been not working with me either..i tried going on it but nothing comes up it just keeps saying that its loading..hmm

my youtube won't load either, i came to yahoo answers to see if anyone else had the same problem, i looked at some other questions and it seems youtube is having problems, I think it is because so many people are trying to get on. But i dont know for sure, hope it works soon!!

No, it's probably a virus, I couldn't get on it when I had a virus. And several other things didn't work either. It works for me, must be your computer, not to be rude

Mine has been not loading when I try to get on.
Mabey there have some technacal diffacultys with youtube....
