Why doesn't youtube's website load on my computer?

Is youtube's site down right now? Youtube always works, it's just not working right now. Why?

The reason why youtube is down is because of all the spam videos they are cleaning out and they are cleaning out porn videos that get past the filter its should be up within the hour =D

Yes it was down because it was doing a mataniance check
for at lease 3 days now? i asked 1 of my friends and they said " I went on YouTube on Friday and it didn't work" But then he said " On Saturday, It work" and same. but after 1hour ... it didn't. the website didn't load it always took me to windows live search, and it's very anoying i updated my flash and etc... no good results. i guess youtube is still checking or theres still something wrong with my laptop

oh I am having the same problem and just asked the same question and then I saw a bunch of other people did too. Must be something wrong with it not our computers.
