Is it just my computer or are both YouTube and NewsNow not working at the moment?

I live in the UK

My youtube hasn't been working for a couple of days. Just tried NewsNow and that's not working either.

As a previous answerer stated, I'm with AOL. Have tried everything I can think of up to now including...

Using the network diagnostics tool
Clearing the cache
Turning off browsing add-ons
Using an alternate browser (FireFox instead of IE7)
Restting and re-installing my router
Running in safe mode
Turning off the phishing filter and firewall
"Pinging" youtube with the IP address

You may want to try some of those solutions but for me, nothing I have tried has worked so far. If I don't get it working soon I'll have to contact AOL. All I get is an error message saying "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage..."

Update: Apparently AOL are doing some work at their end so best to wait it out. Why does it have to affect youtube though!!! :(

i think its just your computer, both are working fine on mine. try re-booting!

Are you on AOL? Seems people on AOL are having this problem with youtube, not heard of NewsNow, but people have had this problem for a few days now. Don't know of a solution though, sorry!

I'm in the US and it's working just fine for me.

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
