AOL UK Trouble? Youtube Trouble?

This only really is aimed at people with AOL UK, i just wanted to know, is it just me or are alot of sites not working? ie. Youtube

Also i have notices my IP changed? it was some mumble jumble like ABCDEF291398.ipt.aol.com now its like 92.110.1.01 (Not accually my IP's)

People say they are doing some sort of switch over, but ive not really heard any news of this...

I have trouble with getting any sort of video on youtube in the past three days. Hmmm, I thought it was something I was doing.

ive seen this lots today, i wouldnt worry, just give it a little time

this has been going on for us for days, we are on the phone to them now. It keeps coming up saying we are not connected to the internet

i am on AOL and i can not get on it aswell and it is starting to piss me off now

all i no is what i read on the site below. Apparently your AOL IP address has changed due to carphone warehouse migrating it's customers to a new network. I had to search for some sort of answer as AOL UK haven't even bothered postying anything on there HomePage.

99% AOL UK users are having this problem and its not been told why by AOL

just turned my computer on for the 1st time in a week and have same problem! think it will probably sort itself out in a while. (i hope)

All AOL customers are having this problem. It's due to changing servers from AOL to Carphone Warehouse. There are loads of messages about this on the AOL forums.

Many sites won't work in IE7, Firefox, etc. BUT THEY SHOULD STILL WORK IN THE AOL BROWSER. Use this if it doesn't work with your normal browser.

I feel your pain, Im having the same problem (see my question below yours) and I am with AOL UK also. Im so gutted as i wanted to see Eduardo's leg break video, gutted.

Ok, i'm having youtube problems too (AOL UK, IE7 and FF), it's like the place no longer exists. Photobucket won't load either, i checked after i'd read of someone else having the youtube prob also had the same with photobucket. A few weeks back I couldn't sign into the playstation network from my PS3, this was also an AOL problem as many other AOL users had the same trouble, it affected MSN too, the solution was to change MTU from 1492 to 1400 in the router setup, a packet size problem, i've since put it back to 1492 with no trouble, but now this.
There was a switchover at this time as Carphone warehouse had bought AOL UK and were migrating existing customers to it's own network. I'm hoping this youtube prob is related and as such only temporary.

I don't really fancy spending an hour on the phone to AOL tomorrow to be told that because youtube works in AOLs own (monumentally rubbish) browser/software (AOL 9.0) that there's not a problem. There is, but they will never admit to a customer that any problem is at their end, so any phone call would be a waste of time and money.

Yeah it's AOL (UK) messing up, can't access youtube, photobucket and some other sites using IE7 but works fine on AOL browser.

AOL problem definitley. My IP changed to 92 instead of a normal 168 or something originally thought it was because I changed my tcp / ip settings. Good to know its not just me having the problem.

Keep getting 'Server not found'
