You have to extract a code from the video to download it and YouTube doesn't provide that specific code just out there in the open. Try searching Google for 'download youtube videos'-there are free programs out there that can do it for you.

Well, you gotta download the videos and etc. Use http://zamzar.com/url and follow the step-by-step instructions. Be sure to use the avi. format, though. Just copy the link of the YouTube video, choose the format(which I showed you), type your email address. and convert the video. Then they'll send you the link through your email to download the video. This site is the most efficient for downloading online videos like YouTube without having to download or buy any kind of software.

This is definitely the best converter. Most converters give you a FLV file, which is very annoying and complicated. This will convert it into any format you want. All you need is the url from the youtube video, which is over on the right above "embed". To see the url make sure you have clicked "more" for the video information.
