I cannot get on the Youtube website, on any of my computers. But my friends can, what is wrong?

It has not been working for a day. It was working early yesterday.
I am my own admin.
My parents don;t have access to my computer.
My friends can get on it with their own computers. On their own internet connection.
No software is blocking it

it could be one of many things?! internet security or network connections/settings are prob most likely!

Perhaps you could check your Internet Security, it may be set so that it blocks youtube. :)

maybe its blocked on your computer. the comps at my school r like that

try typing youtube.com without the www. in front of it..

Your network conection is probably messed up. Without snymore detail I don't really know what's going on.

you may need to install adobe flash player. you can get it from this site:

otherwise if it's not showing up at all, you might have a more complicated dns resolution problem that you should ask your isp about. Make sure too that you are spelling the address correctly.

Do you have it blocked? Mine is blocked on my computer because I have administrators that blocked it. Are you your own administrator?

they can get youtube on ur computers but you can't????

ummm well its up and running i just checked, so try putting the www. and the .com infront of and behind youtube, if you havent done that already...><;;

haha ive done this to my sisters before...
its called a website block.
the only one i can walk you though how to fix is this

go to your internet browser.
go to options
go to security
click blocked websites
if youtube is on the list, click it and delete it.
then it should work

if not, then your parents are running a different blocker program, on that i can't help you mate

To access such websites, your computer must have an up-to-date, JavaScript颅颅 program to work with your computers' video card.
Troubleshooting:
Go on your internet browser
Select Tools, then internet options
Go to advanced and go down to Java and MVI files and check of a box

I have the same problem also...
Apparently if your ISP is AOL, you are likely to encounter the youtube.com issue, it is because AOL are doing a massive server changeover which includes the change of IP addresses and it has had a knock on effect with certain websites AOL customers want to visit, hopefully it will be fixed soon...

UPDATE:
Yessir, AOL is my ISP and my IP Address has been changed. I am using wireless router ADSL...

me two are you on AOL cos i think it some thing to do with them

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
