YouTube Down - Website won't load for me?!?

Ok look, I have just logged on this morning and YouTube seems to be down? I am on a 3Com wireless router, with Kaspersky internet security (AOL) ISP.

I have been trying to get onto YouTube all day and no luck? It loads up at the bottom and about 10 seconds later it says " Server not found".

I have tried NSLOOKUP (in CMD) www.youtube.com and it times out.

I have also tried to go onto youtube on another PC connected to my wireless network and still no luck?

I have all JAVA and ADOBE FLASH updated?

any pointers :(

Yes, also I have been using a Proxy and youtube seems to load up fine. But when I type youtube.com into my browser still nothing loads up?! :S

What could it be, something blocking it?

my DNS seems to be functioning fine! Even when I miss-type websites!

I am with AOL and was wondering, they did a change over recently could this be affected by that?

i also have the same problem
youtube hasnt worked for 2 days with me, but everything else works fine.

i asked my friends and all there youtubes works..which makes me eithen more confused XD

i have aol, and basically with us its aol so if any1 here has aol and has the same problem its aprently AOL switching servers and being a pain in the @ss

i seriously want youtube back LOL

I've been having the same problem for a day and a half now :( all the other sites are opening just fine, and youtube opens when i use proxy.com, though the videos still dont play. i have nothing blocked, and have run the antivirus to scan for anything.. it was clean.. that IP address doesnt work either..i need help too!

I'm actually unable to access Youtube too. I believe the site is temporarily down as I did see a notice for scheduled Maintenance on the website some time yesterday.

I kind of have the same problem - but i cant upload any videos - i guesse there must be some sort of error

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
