How do you make Videos like the ones on YOUTUBE?

Ive seen Funny .. Cool.. Action... Videos that show only clips of Shows or movies...
I really want to Make 1...
But i cant Copy the PERSON who Made It...
I Want to get The same Clips that are on the video and make a video of my OWN.. With my own MUSIC,.. DESIGNS..AND CLIPS>>>HOW DO I DO THAT
