YouTube Down?

Ok look, I have just logged on this morning and YouTube seems to be down? I am on a 3Com wireless router, with Kaspersky internet security (AOL) ISP.

I have been trying to get onto YouTube all day and no luck? It loads up at the bottom and about 10 seconds later it says " Server not found".

I have tried NSLOOKUP (in CMD) www.youtube.com and it times out.

I have also tried to go onto youtube on another PC connected to my wireless network and still no luck?

I have all JAVA and ADOBE FLASH updated?

any pointers :(

All other Website are working, apart from YouTube? :S

Simalair thing here. Any vid I watch it freezes.

It sounds like your internet isn't working properly, as Youtube is working

YouTube's doing maintenance. You should still be able to visit the site, not at the fastest speed in the world or with all features, but it will come back. Also, you can not get on at all the moment they begin or end their maintenance sessions.

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
