What type of camera should I get to make videos for youtube?

I'm not trying to spend my life savings but I don't want a rinkydink piece of crap quality specimen either. What would you guys suggest?

My account is karatechess, and if you like the video quality, I use an eyetoy, (for ps2) but it can get tricky trying to find the drivers, good luck.
