Violent comment on youtube from unknown user?

I received 3 violent messages from an unknown asshole this week, where this person said that they wanted to kick me in the face to cut it open and to kill me with a chainsaw and things like that. This person even said cursewords all thoughout the three messages, saying that "I wish you what is coming for you f*cking b*tch." This psychopath even gave me the url of a video for me to watch, which was just a clip of some of those violent Japanese movies.

What should I do???!!! Should I tell the police? I actually spammed this message (which means that I don't have the evidence anymore), and I blocked the person. I'm just not sure if it is going to end all here.

You don't have anything to worry about unless you've shown your face or information, but even then, they'll never find you thoughout this country! Besides, just report the threat to the header and he's gone right on the spot! There's really not more you can do.

ok as long as they can't get your real info I wouldn't be worried but report it to youtube immediately. I am not sure the police would be able to help you unless a crime has been committed and no crime has been committed yet.

Well let's just say that by how you are reacting, that guy got what he wanted. It's the internet, don't take it seriously. That lowlife probably just sits online all day, playing World of WarCraft or something. There are always going to be twisted, demented people in this world. The police will literally laugh at you if you contact them about this. If you blocked them, then you have nothing to worry about. By the way, how old are you?
