How do you know if your Youtube video is copyrighted?

I've been having trouble with this. I am worried to put a video that could be copyrighted on youtube because I have already put something on that was taken off. Youtube's rule is if you put on 2 videos that are taken off, you lose your account and all of your videos.

But this is what I don't get:
Last year, I put a clip of Vladimer Guirrero (however you spell it) in the Home Run Derby from ESPN and it got taken off. But recently, people have put clips of Dwight Howard's dunk from the DUnk Contest on TNT but that hasn't been taken off.

So I don't understand what is and what isn't copyrighted. Can anybody help

Basically, the TNT video is still on there because TNT hasnt reported it yet.

idk, a whole bunch of people do it anyways.

but there should be no worries of it happening again.

it was late last year that youtube got taken to court for allowing users to upload copy right material so now they are checking everything to make sure it is not copy righted...

now here is the thing.. everything is copy righted.. even your home video's, photo's. you own the copy rights to them, you made them... so there for they are yours.

everything you hear/see on the radio/tv is copy righted. by someone

so to make this easy for you, the only things you can upload to youtube is the things that you produced yourself...
