Has Youtube been going slow lately or is it just me?

no its bot just you it has been going really slow lately and it really annoys me

I am to lazy to type much,but I TRULY was going to ask this question,because the same thing is happening to me.I don't know why,because all my other sites are popping up as fast as they should,but youtube is is slow for some reason these past few days...I hope they figure something out lol

i'm trying to upload a video,but it is taking FOREVER.

It is low for me, must be site traffic.

I personally haven't been having any problems with youtube, but my internet is so slow that i wouldn't really know..
Its probably because so many people are using it at one time, that its cloggin the site up.

Usually, downloading the video first goes faster. You have to wait for it to finish completely, but it won't be pausing every minute either. You can try it at http://www.savethevid.com. Just enter the link to the video. You do need an FLV player, which can be found in the FAQ, but you only need to do that once.

Yes it is, they are doing some minor server updates.

Plus the site traffic is a lot at this time of day.


But yes, it should continue back to regular pace by later tonight.

YouTube has been performing website reboots and it's been loading really really slow because of that. They should return to normal after this week or so. Please be patient.
