Problems watching videos online...?

Up until a couple days ago, I never had any problems watching videos online. (youtube, sent by friends, or even music videos on mtv, vh1 websites...) I tried to watch some videos today on multiple different sites and the video just doesn't show up. Meaning there's a blank white spot where the box should be, but nothing ever comes up.

When I'm logged into this computer under someone else's name, videos play fine. So I'm assuming it's something with my settings.

Any advice because I have no idea how to fix this.

I added a virus scanner and it came up with nothing.

I downloaded opera and that made no difference either. Nothing is working.

Is there anything else that can cause this? or fix it?

i have exactly the same problem

mabye you have a virus.. go download Mcafee or sumthing like that and scan for viruses then block the virus.. but make sure that the virus scaner is a safe one.. don't just get a download for virus things out of ads from the side of the internet. ;)

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
