Help please - I have no sound when playing videos on websites such as YouTube?

This problem has just started. I have removed and re-installed Flash player but this does not resolve the problem.
Can anyone help?

The volume icon is not muted. I can play mp3's etc I just don't have ausio in webpages. I have IE 7 and Windows Vista. Could he issue be related to windows media player, quick time or real player?

Do you have speakers?
Is the sound muted?
Check where the sound is coming out of by right clicking the speaker icon. Volume Control Panel, and see where it leads out to, Make sure its the right speakers and all of that.
