How do i download youtube videos onto my computer?

I don't think you can at this point, but soon you will be able to (I think), anyway you can download vids from google video tho.

download realplayer 11 and when you go to the youtube.com move your mouse ontop of the video and a little bar would show up then you can download it

i dont think you can,i know on google video you can just dl this program that lets you play the google videos after you saved it in some video format onto your desktop.I never heard of youtube trying any of this.

If you have a mac, and have firefox their is an add-on called unplug, it converts the video into flash format to download onto your computer however you need vlc for it to play. Then use iSquint to convert the video to iPod video format if you want to get it on your iPod video

Free Real Player has automatic ability to download many items. set up a file for downloads and away you go....

I have Real Player, i guess it's the most recent one, and if you have it running in the background, and the little icon is in the bar by the clock, then you can put your mouse over video and flash clips on the internet, and a box will pop up that you can click on and download that file.

if u look up "flv converter" on google, something will come up. it has a feature to download vids off youtube.

You can download Youutube player or utube hunter and download all youtube videos

if you go and download realplayer it comes with a downloader and it can download youtube and other videos plus audio.

or firefox and get a youtube downloader add on.

There are some programs you can get but if you're using firefox you can get an add on to download the flv and then get another program to convert it.

Go to the activities windows and click on the file underneath the YouTube title in bold that is the largest file(usually has MB at end of the line). Once that is downloaded, convert it with iSquint.
Or you could just download TubeTV.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox as a web browser, you can install
an add-on called "download helper" that will allow you to do that.
Otherwise, I think there is some other software that will let you. You should be using Firefox anyway; it's better than internet explorer.
