Desktop youtube viewer?

Hi,
Im looking for a way to stream youtube videos without opening an internet browser (basically a separate youtube program), i know there are plenty of programs that let you download the video, but i want to STREAM it as it would be on the youtube web page by just pasting the url in the the program.

Anyone got any ideas?

People are misunderstanding/not reading the question, i DON'T want to have to visit the youtube webpage, i DON'T even want to open an web browser, and i DON'T want to download the video, i want to STREAM it.

jsut set youtube as your homepage. or even the search page of you favorite band. then you click the E and your there

You can't who favored your videos. Only way is if they comment the vid , and you visit their Account and then look in their favorites for your vid.
