How can I save a You Tube video onto my computer for later viewing if I won't have internet connection later?

First install and start the Firefox web browser instead of Microsoft's. You may get it from here:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/

(You will be taken to a site with hundreds of extensions to choose from first time you start firefox)

Then look for an extension that saves streaming video -(like Youplayer).
-and install it to firefox.

Next time you start firefox go to the video site and use the extension..

On save to your favorites it should say make this page available off line.
If not just left click and copy and paste on to your picture folder that usually works for me.

i use orbit downloader
or realone player
both can download any videos from internet. you can get this two in download.com

if you have an acount, then when you look at a vido right below it, it should have a hart. The hart means favs. just click on the hart.
If you dont have an acout, at the very top of the page there should be an sign up thing you can press.

Download it and use "FLV player" to play it.
Copy and paste link on Youtube in some web and click Get link download:
