I try to download videos from youtube and other websites, but I keep on getting errors. What am I doing wrong?

try google videos and download them.

Go to http://www.zamzar.com/url/ and paste in the youtube address, then choose avi for easier watching.

A simple way to save the videos from "Youtube" is to allow them to play it once (just to make sure they downloaded completely) and then search the "Temporary Internet Files" folder for them (they are files with ".swf" or ".flv" extentions) and copy them to another folder.
This way you don't need all kind of tools that can make errors.

It seems that you tube have blocked downloads. I`ve tried various downloaders with the same result - blocked.
