Need help with watching youtube clips...?

every time i try to watch youtube clips the video plays for about 2 seconds then pauses for about 15-20 seconds then play again for 2 seconds and this is really irritating. how can i get it to play the clips straight through without all the long pauses. i have windows vista if that makes a difference.

its your computer. it happens to me when mine goes slow. you just have to wait for the video to load a little and when its like 1/3 loaded then click play sometimes the computer will go real slow and you'll actually catch up to what is still loading so it will stop again.

I see lots of bad things about Vista, but that is not one of them.

My guess is that somewhere between YouTube and You, you have a internet bottleneck (likely in the "last mile"). When you first click the link, the video usually starts to load, before you click the "play" button (different color bar) If you wait until the video is completely buffered into your computer before you play, there should be no problem (you may be able to do other things while you wait).

My second guess would be you might have a computer with small buffer space. It may be possible to increase (or check on) what is available.

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
