Why doesn't my FireFox play YouTube videos? Its says.............................

This is what it says,

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."

I downloaded Flash Player and its still there. How do I turn JavaScript on ?

Chances are it's not a Javascript issue .. it's Flash Player 99% of the time. Go here & try downloading v9.0.

Once you download it, you must close ALL programs & apps on your computer, everything, including the wizard you use to OPEN the flash player installer .. then install it.

After you install it, restart your computer, & YouTube should then work.

Make sure you also have the latest version of firefox. I've watched youtube videos with no problem with it.

This is because firefox comes default with flash player 8, all the you tube vids nd such require 9. but if it is off you need to go to tools>options>content and then you need to make sure that the box is checked that says "enable java". if that doesent work reinstall firefox nd the go to here http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplaye...
redownload it and istall. nd make sure its enabled.

these will help you...

1. Use Opera browser, it will load faster and smoother, and re-install latest flash.

get the latest flash player, and install it.. make sure all the browsers are NOT running during installation...

OR..

2. It could be due to slow connection or high traffic.
Try watching it during off peak hours, the video will be smoother.

Or you could watch it offline... try using 'zillatube' .

It works well - Just yahoo or google search "zillatube" to get it.
