Can I put stuff from wikipedia on my site including images? You can but you have to credit wikipedia for using thier image or contents. It depends. If the images re copyrighted by the author (poeople write the articles, not employees). If you are going to make the website big, official and publish it, then it is et not. I always doit for my homework. Nothing wrong with copying and pasting, but if you do that and claim it is your own work, the copyright law can sue you. You'll be fine. No-e will notice. You absolutely CAN. The exact rules and whether you have to credit depend on the copyright. No there a lot of copyrighted images there. Check the copyright notice on the individual picture. You can do this by clicking on the thumbnail and going to the picture's page. If it is released into the public domain, under the GNU Free Documentation License, or under the Creative Commons License, you should be able to use it on your web site.
