How to start a wikipedia page?

I want a real step by step guide, not the one wikipedia gives you. 10 points to best answer/guide.

1. Go to the search bar, and type in the name you want the article to have (ex. "My Wonderful Article").

2. On the search results, it will tell you that no results were found for that name, and that you can "create this page." Follow that link.

3. Enter your information in the box.

I would suggest, if you have not familiarized yourself with proper syntax and style for an article, that you spend some time editing other articles, before you start your own.
