Don't do it. Your article may be vandalised. Wikipedia is not a good place. There are lots of bad articles there. Write a Knol.

Id say it's real, although i know nothing about that topic. There isn't anywhere on thw page where someone can edit it. I think its just a decent site.

I don't think you can do it with email, but when you are on a page and "logged on" to wiki, you can click, on the top of the page, "watch this page". that should work.
