How do you upload, place, and caption pictures on wikipedia? |
i recently added a article to wikipedia.org and i want to put pictures, and the way wikipedia explains it is not very user friendly. so can anyone show me the ropes? First, you need to log in. Then from the menu on the left (under the blank) select upload file. Browse your computer and upload the file you wish to. This will also give you several choices as to where the picture came from. You will need to rename the file as well as describe where it came from. To upload an image, go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Upl... and follow the instructions. For help with placing images on pages, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:I... . Ask again if you have more questions. I'm having difficulty with this myself!
