Can anyone in Thailand access Wikipedia English version?

I had thought it my own PC problem but I found others in my area unable to access Wikipedia, either. It has been like this for quite a while. I have heard nothing but has there been any blocking of the site going on in this region? Please do not guess. Thanks for your answer.

I dont know about wikipedia direct, but i use answers.com and you can download the answers.com toolbar and it puts a little arrow at the left of your screen which you can drag up or down to what level you want it. This is an invaluable tool as it uses wikipedia and many other sources for information and is always at your fingertips no matter where you are on the net.I am looking at my arrow now and its great in answers as i could click on my arrow now and answer a tecnical question by typing the question into the bar that comes out and clicking go.Once you have the information, exit using the cross for answers page_not the main cross at the top right otherwise you will be back to your desktop-(got caught myself a few times) lol. Give it a go Kanda and if you dont like it-just go to your programs and delete it.The only thing it does that might annoy you is it comes in at start up and shows a box with highlights of the day which might be telling you that some great event happened on this day, but i dont mind that either .

Yes. Go to the bottom of the page and click on UK.

on my browser, i could select the language depending on my choice. i just typed www.wikipedia.org, then menu page appears where there's a drop down box..you could choose the language you prefer.

Unfortunately Kanda, I have to make a guess here ... but there is a likelyhood that somebody was vandalising Wikipedia pages and the Wikipedia admin might have blocked an entire IP range in order to block whoever is responsible for doing it.

This is the only thing I can think of that would stop people all over a region from accessing Wikipedia

If you couldn't access the site at all, maybe you should restart your computer, it helps sometimes. Then, you could just type in "en.wikipedia" so that it skips the language page and immidiately goes to English (it's what I do-haven't seen that language page in a LONG time :D).
