How to add a picture to Wikipedia article?

How do you upload and then incorporate a picture into an existing Wikipedia article? Thanks.

1) Login - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Use...

2) Upload the image - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Upl...

3) Make sure you add the source (where the image is from) and copyright information to the image description page

4) Add it to the article by typing [[ Image: imagename.jpg|thumb|caption]] (swap imagename.jpg for the actual name and extension of your image)

Note: if the image is under a free license, it's better to upload it to the Wikimedia Commons instead since then it can be used by all Wikimedia projects, including the 230 different language versions of Wikipedia. http://commons.wikimedia.org/

it should say edit at the bottom

there's a location in the editing section, its a really small icon on the bar above the text section that, once clicked, lets you put the link of a pic pertaining to your article. but of course, once added your pic and article, have to be wikified!

Go to Wikipedia Home page,if you have an account sign in, if not create one. to go to the toolbox in the left hand column and click on upload file. there will be instructions on the page from their to guide you through the process

If you want to add a picture, consider wheter it is suitable. Then, you have to find if the picture is OK to use. Be careful when adding a picture using other peoples methods as it many get deleted.
