I wanna add a page of my father on wikipedia ? HOW ?

he is famous actually he was on TV yesterday and i want to make a page of him on WIKIPEDIA but how ?
do i have to pay?
some basic Qs n As answers pls

It is easy to create a page on Wikipedia, you just type the name of the article you want to create and click on the red link. That will let you edit the page. Unfortunately, Wikipedia has notability guidelines (see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WP:BIO for information). Wikipedia also has people patrolling new pages as they are created. If you create an article about your father, it will probably be deleted rather quickly.

it is simple to make a page on wikipedia, you may have to become a member (which is free and you dont get spam from it) after that search your fathers name, nothing will come up probably then there is a button which says add an entry on this thing, you click that and then you can write all you want on him, after that as long as it is true and they do not consider it spam then it will be accepted and added into their database
