this photo when it was taken was actually wrapped in plastic and submerged in the back of a toilet while the photographer was searched and harassed by chinese police as they knew he could have photographed the instance. Luckily him and the photo made it. http://www.jimmysworld.org/images/posts/...

I've only heard of wikipedia, but from what I understand of it you would be better off defining it as unnecessary. It's another attempt by the media entities to make people think trivial things are important, thus making it somehow necessary. Look what capitalism gives: 2% of the world's population owning 50% of the world's wealth, crime, poverty and homelessness in every city, and the general population suffering.

Sure, communism wasn't great, and didn't work completely, but it did create equality - equality in the sense that every percieved everyone else was equal, not equality in the sense that people with great minds weren't allowed to progress and succeed. Every had a similar financial capital, there were no homeless or poor, unemployment was basically nil.

I myself believe in communism, but have tried to keep a balanced argument - in future, please consider proper data and sources before going with common belief of the 1950's that communism "corrupts" children.

I am not, and have never supported communism, but l do not imagine that it will rear ts head in the greedy world of capitalism....let alone influence the'got everything' brats with computers at their fingertips. Communism only worked on poor people.

communism or socialism by themselves are not evil - the idea is to share things equally. Many countries use some socialist principles to good effect. The US has let capitalism go crazy, with the result that your medical system is completley ruined. In many countries taxes subsidise medicine so that even the poorest can access good medical care quickly - this is a communistic idea. I guess wikipedia is communisitic in philosophy - everyone can share and modify info. This is its strength, it is also its weakness - any idiot can develop a soapbox and promulgate all sorts of nonsense. However the large group acessing wikipedia tend to remove or censor such things quite quickly. Like all good institutions, it has good and bad points. Corruption of the youth is a very rubbery term. What is corruption? What is the sort of truth they should learn? Are all truths good? Does not the truth set you free? Parents should show children how to judge the world and react to the truth apprpriately, that is the truth.
