Why can't you people use wikipedia?!?!?

The answers to half these questions can be found on wikipedia a lot faster than waiting for people here to answer.

I don't even rely on Wikipedia. I rely on the Bush administration to tell me what's true.

because people are lazy and need work done for them, they can't do it themselves, exemplified by yourself, who instead of examining the mind of everyone out there expects people to reply to your question, where as you could use wikipedia yourself

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. Hardly a reliable source of information!

It's because we want to make a difference and get the required motivation.

When a problem is posted and we receive a solution it means the solution has been tested before so it can be implemented without worries.

Yahoo Answers help connect like minded people and also share their ideas in REAL-TIME!

If I am right you have answered 28 questions and asked 2 questions have you got a perfect answer for those 2 questions in Wikipedia, especially for "What gas fireplace is best for burning evidence?" in Wikipedia?

We also use Yahoo Answers to get POINTS it's like a exam back at school, here you don't get scolded if you don't answer, you also don't fail here but yes you can get low marks if your answer is baseless.

LOL or Google or Ask or any other search engine. (Except for those that an EPT test would handle.)

then where is the challenge to it, and besides wikipedia is not always correct and its so cheating, most people are looking for a variety of responces so they can make up they're own minds.

Wikipedia is just the same as yahoo answers. Anybody can setup a account and modify the information being given on a topic. This is even stated on the wikipedia page itself. The funny thing is, there are much better sites out there but no one uses them. Using wikipedia is also lazy, since people cant actually conduct research, so they go to wikipedia to just get information that could be wrong but not know it and use it. People, encyclopedias will have answers to a lot of questions, except the ones that invovle real world situtations.

Mmm, Wikipedia isn't always helpful, and sometimes it's hard to understand, sometimes, lol.

Personally for me it's a whole lot easier to just ask her than go through a bunch of random articles on wikipedia.

because wikipedia is kinda like a machine and with this your talking to humans so its more social. and humans are lazy

Wikipedia doesnt have all the answers to some questions here on Yahho Answers. Like it cant answer personal questions like "I ate a posinous mushroom wat do I do" it wont answer that question on wikipedia.

Wikipedia can be edited by anyone, so is not reliable. There are lots of other sites for finding information but this is yahoo answers it's more of an interactive site.
