Is Wikipedia the most important site on the web? |
A great concept, a great resource... i cant think of any other site that can top it... Yes it most certainty is. You can better see this. LOL sure if you are looking for up to the minute "I'm not quite sure if it's accurate" information. Depends what you mean by "important.". Wikipedia is significant, and, I guess important, because people assume it to be a good reference resource. It is, however, an extremely unreliable one. Ah yeah. I mean it gives me so much informtaion and it has links in the information if gives me. It also gives me information about things before it is known to the masses. It think it's great and I would be lost without it. what about amazon.com? Oh and to the first guy, google is owned by wikipedia . vise versa yeah sure wikipedia is a good site but how do you that the info is true i disagree with ALFIE b/s you have a gay name The search engines think its important because the site has lots of fresh content, properly search engine optimised, and a proper linking structure. So it ranks high in the search engines and is more visible to the public while doing searches. It is a great site for source of information and knowledge. How to compare it to other sites? |
