Wikipedia why do so may people in answers copy and paste? |
all there answers from wikipedia i think its sooo lame Because they're lazy, and have no capacity to answer the question directly. In some cases, the question isn't even answered at all. Even worse is when they don't quote Wikipedia as the source, even though it's often quite obvious. Y do soo many people use google? Same Reason! A lot of info. because they have no mind or words of their own Because people should look on wikipedia before they post a question here. because they dont know the answer and are desperate for the points?? so they just copy a whole web page. Why do so many people ask questions they could Google for??? im not sure but you cant get good info from wikipedia (usually) because people can go and just change answers even if they are completly wrong (we are told not to use wikipedia for school work because of the false information) Because the person asking is, presumably, unable to do it for themselves so we have to help out. Most of us do google search if we don't know the answer already and Wiki commonly come out close to top. Because some people are dumb enough to give them Best Answers. Because if the answer isn't in your head, you have to look somewhere :) If it's just a small section of relevant information then that's great if they do that, rather it came from a reliable source. If it answers my question then i dont mind at all. I dont like seeing full pages being pasted on though. Because they are lazy and don't have time to give an efficient reponse, also wikipedia/dictionary.com is used to give the answers in a casual way (they should list their source), and they aren't good at linguistic skills (or in this case, thinking of words and typing it out), so they paste it, or just can't summarize it properly. People are too lazy to right their own answers so they just copy and paste everything they see that relates to the question. Welcome to Wikipedia, If i want to know smth i usually go to Wikipedia. But there are a lot of people who don't want or are lazy to do it and ask here, so..if you don't want other peole to paste the information from wiki here just write about it and ask for own opinion. To show people that it's just as easy to go to your browser, type www.google.com and try doing some research before posting your questions on Answers. I prefer to copy the link and let people look it up themselves. only the people who know nothing but how to research copy and paste from wikipedia which from what i've seen of wikipedia it's not all that reliable a source. a lot of the entries on wikipedia are written by losers with way to much time on their hands. Why would a person ask a question they can get answered by using Google themselves? Why should I take my time trying to rephrase something I can just snip and paste? Its funny.Complain about copy and paste when the asking person could have searched his self they want the most accurate and fast info they can find to make their contributions more meaningful and respected although they should type what they know from experience |
