Why does Yahoo! Answers know nothing about Wikipedia?

Duh! Because Wikipedia is the competition!

what do you mean by "knows nothing"? i type in wikipedia to double check an answer occasionally,and "search the web" takes me right there.so yahoo answers DOES "know" wikipedia.(but,not in the biblical sense!) p.s. when i spell-checked this answer,SPELLCHECK didn't "know" wikipedia! it suggested whipped,wiped .or kipped! that's ok,i LOATHE spellcheck,i just use it to weed out typo's or capitalize letters
