Where can I see the web browser statistics for Wikipedia- i.e. which browsers are used to access it?

Has Wikipedia released data on which web browsers are used to access it (and the statistics thereof)?

I feel it would be great if Wikipedia releases this data- especially because it is one of the most heavily visited websites.

Historic data is available on a special statistics page (link below), but is apparently no longer maintained -- the last update was apparently February 2004. This was before IE7, and before Firefox really took off, so it has certainly changed.

That page states that Internet Explorer had 79.6% of hits and Mozilla (including Firefox) took 12.2%, with the rest all falling far behind.

This is curious, since for the net at large (see the second link below), in early 2004 Firefox was probably used by roughly 3% of users. I suspect that bias continues, but unless someone else can find the answer to your question, I guess we won't know.

However the second link also points out reasons such statistics can be misleading. Good question, though.
