My friend edits Wikipedia, and I have a question about it? |
My friend edits Wikipedia and puts stuff like HAHAHA, or other weird stuff and deletes everything. What will happen to him? Will he be banned or what are his panelties? First, the things that he edited will be reverted back to it's original text. Then he/she will be warned. It was featured today 10/11/07 on FOXNEWS. It may be fun for those who don't know what to do with their spare time - as for me, as soon as I found out it wasn't legitimate, I removed it from Favorites and have not gone there since. A moderator will put the aritcle back to its original from and then he will be banned at a certain point but usually they issue a few warnings before a ban. a ban only prevents on from editing not from viewing the site. |
