How do I remove my user name from the top (left of the title) of the wikipedia page I edited?

How do I remove my user name from the top (left of the title) of the wikipedia page I edited?

Curran H. is correct in that once you have made an edit, it is a permanent part of that article's history, even if it is later 'undone'.

But that history isn't on the wikipedia page itself -- your username shouldn't show up anywhere on the page's article itself.

I'm also a little confused about 'left of the title' -- when I look at a wikipedia page, the wikipedia logo is to the left of the article's title.

Is it possible that you are referring to your username on the top right banner? Next to 'my talk'? If so, don't worry: that isn't part of the article, it's just a banner to show you're currently signed into Wikipedia -- no one else sees it, since they'll see their username in the same place, or no username if they aren't signed in.

If you're talking about someplace else, provide more details.

Once you have editing a page, it is permanently in the history.
