Is it possible to download the entire wikipedia database? |
If so, how could one go about doing it? How big would it be? no way the whole database is a few to a lot of terabytes. which is way bigger than your HDD for sure. no there is way to much info Yes, yes it's possible. It's at download.wikimedia.org. The two answerers above are misinformed as usual. |

Unfortunately many people contribute to wikipedia's content and articles. You can however to go the history tab of any article, top of the page, and it will let you know which users contribute... When it's blue, it means it's a link and there's an article on it. However when it's red, it's still a link but there's no article on that topic yet. ...My personal opinion is ... U r right. And the information given is also many times wrong. Especially the pages concerning history, mythology and films. ...Wikipedia allows users to update and edit anything they'd like. Its like a public encyclopedia. I think when it says active, it means people are allowed to edit as they like. Don't use... ... |
