What does it mean on wikipedia when they put words in red?

like just now i was looking up shirley temple on wikipedia and it had some names of movies and some people in red. what does that mean?

When it's blue, it means it's a link and there's an article on it.

However when it's red, it's still a link but there's no article on that topic yet.

yeah he is right...

The words in blue tells you that an article is available or information is available.

The words in red tell you that no article or information for that person.plant,etc. is available

BLUE WORDS means there is an article about it and that is the link.
RED means that it's a important word(s), but at this time, there is no information further about it. There is also a link attached, so people can add information.

It's a link that isn't.

A redlink is a word that is linked to nothing.

Ever heard of a redlink fetishist? No? Me neither. I should know. I made a userbox that says... But I digress.

When a link is blue, an article is already created for that link.

When a link is red, it means no article or information currently exists on Wikipedia. To create an article, you need an account, then you may write one.

Those articles don't exist yet. To create one, click on the red link and start editing. After you save the article, the link will appear blue.

When words are in red, it means that there's not a wikipedia entry about that person or movie.

It means that that certain topic isn't on wikipedia
