On Wikipedia what does it mean when it says? |
Active since- Wikipedia allows users to update and edit anything they'd like. Its like a public encyclopedia. I think when it says active, it means people are allowed to edit as they like. Don't use that as a reliable source. Some of their information may not be as accurate as you think. Is it just me, or does that not answer your question at all? Report It pages are under active development, this topic has been present since __ In this context, "active since" means how long the person has worked in their field of expertise. For example, when a sportsperson, actor, writer, etc, started their career. If there are two dates that means that they were active between those days, but no longer take an active part in that profession. Perhaps they have retired or died, for example. Where only one date is mentioned, it means they are still competing, performing, writing, etc. Hope this helps. I'd assume it means that they have been active in some capacity to do something they are known for. i dont know search it in answers.com In the article on George Michael it says passive since, as he is well known to be a taker not a giver lol! need points |
