Wiki page question?

I work in a sales dept at publishing company. I'm in charge of setting up the wiki page. I"m finding the page to be a bit confusing. Anyhow, I am not a sales rep, but i'm setting up the page for them starting with a product FAQ section. Basically if the reps have questions about any products they can go to this page, post questions about them and then other people can refer to it, and people can refer back to it. I am thinking of listing each of our products on the page and people can insert their questions under each product heading. Does thsi make sense? any better ideas

The best thing to do is to use a web host for creating a web page for your publishing company. Use a Phbb messageboard for inquiries and product listings.

I wouldn't use Wikipedia because any teenager or competitor can edit your Wikipedia. I would never use a Wikipedia page for my company (that's just my opinion though).

Do you mean a Wiki on the company website or do you mean Wikipedia? You weren't very clear. Report It

Your not allowed to edit Wikipedia to post a FAQ there, nor on the talk page. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Due to Wikipedia's conflicts of interest policy, if you have any kind of connection to a company or organization, you are not encouraged to edit the article about that company, as you have a biased opinion on it. Wikipedia is open content so others can edit it, but it wasn't designed for you to share your products with people. A better suggestion would to make a open-content forum (seperate from Wikipedia) and link it to a company website so you can have a FAQ section.

A message board would probably work better.

If you use a Wiki, I'd suggest making a page for each product and using the talk pages for questions.
