Can a person add a bio of their self to wikepedia?

if so how do you do it

Nope. If you are an entertainer, regardless of if you are famous or not, they will likely leave your profile up of you provide legitimate links to your work. If you are setting up a simple profile, it will get deleted.

That is against wikipedia standards, and if you try to make an article of yourself, it will likely be deleted due to lack of significance within a few minutes.

I believe some members have user pages, I'm not sure what exactly for, I think to show what articles those members wrote on wikipedia.

Try some other site, like uncyclopedia, which is like wikipedia but not as strictly moderated and its meant to be funny.

Go to wikipedia and set up for a (free) ID. Log in and run their tutorial. It will walk you through the process of editing and creating pages. If you are able to use a word processor and have any web page designing experience, it is easy.

I have added several dozen pages to my favorite "wiki" site for Marvel and DC Comics as well as added actual wikipedia pages. (Can recall that I have added a wikipedia page to the main site.)

You could, but it would get deleted. You're supposed to only add things to wikipedia that belong in an encyclopedia.

You could, but if you're not important enough for someone else to do it, they will delete it after a short time.

you can. I have done it. it does sometimes get deleted in a few days, but one time it stayed there for 3 months
