Wikipedia links............why???

when asking a question on YA why do u get these d*ckbrains give you a wikipedia link??? if i wanted to get information from there i would get it

weird i no but it just gets me lol

well the reason why i ask is so i could get ur personal opinion so go fu(k ur self paul

Its easier than typing in the answer maybe

Then get your info from there instead of asking on here then ;-)

Its called racking up points for nowt effort..

Wikipedia = God

Enjoy going round in circles...

You are asking a question that presumably you want an answer to otherwise why ask it?

A link to Wikipedia will no doubt not only answer your question but in many cases offer additional information on the subject you are seeking information.

So are you pro copy and pasters who rob it and drop it?

What do you believe is the purpose of this site other than to gain answers to questions you either can't be bothered to research yourself.

Simple, any easy 2 points and you don't have to explain anything. Just like I just got.

Then be my guest & do your own searching!

Yes you could just go there yourself but it is assumed that people are unaware of how much info is available on Wikipedia and therefore a link is provided so they can get a full answer to the question they asked.
Simple really isn't it?

Better to get the facts from your head,,,,,

I dunno ask wikipedia :p

ehehe :p

Because it's fun

I guess that's why U R "stressed"

haha!

No seriously... Wikipedia is sometimes inaccurate. If you ask a question on yahoo, and everybody gives you the same answer that you saw on wikipedia, it would help, if you knew that that's where they got their info from.

I do not cause i can't spell the dam word lol

What? I cen get points just for replying with a wiki link?

thanks for all the useful links - they gave me more info than I really needed but very interesting - GET IT!!!

I'll answer with another question:
why should somebody else do your searching for you? Are you too lazy to browse to Wikipedia?:) There is absolutely nothing weird in referring you to the appropriate information.

Welcome to Wikipedia,
the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit.
2,016,439 articles in English

And you can find a link for d**ckbrains too !

I just gave everyone who answered a BIG THUMB UP
Maybe that will really get to you too ? he he he he !

I half agree with you. It would annoy me if someone responded with just a link but at least my question would be answered eventually.

I, on the other hand, will use wikipedia, but take the effort to cut and paste the appropriate answer from the wiki site. The reason being, I hope that the questioner will appreciate my efforts.

I suggest you don't use wikipedia for resources since anyone anywhere can cahnge the information.
