Can anyone who wants to write Wikipedia entries?

If I decided to write a Wikipedia entry about a topic I happen to know quite a bit about, such as "The Ugandan Cave Rabbit", and there's nothing on that topic yet, can I just get a registration, log in, and type away, citing bibliography, etc.?

Sorry if this sounds like I've spent the past ten years in a cave, it's just that it blows me away.

you are the expert if and until the entry gets changed. I have some entries and also have corrected some, Last time I looked Wikipedia is becoming very sophisicated. this has put the critics
back into their holes.

Yes, anyone can edit wikipedia unless they're IP banned. You can make the page without registering. Or if you'd like to, you can sign up.
