OMG OMG OMG! Somebody made a WIKIPEDIA page on me! I'm not even famous!?!?!?

Okay, I won't give my name or anything. But this is true! I was really bored a few minutes ago, and I decided to check my name on Wikipedia. So I typed in my first and last name, and up came a page on me! Every last word of information is correct about me, with my 1st and 2nd mother, and my 1st and 2nd mother. I'm only 13! I called who ever I could and knew on my cell phone and other people in my mother's phone book to see if anyone made it, and they all said no! What should I do? This is really freaky. I don't know how my 2nd mother and I can track the person who did it down, since Wikipedia is sooo public.

And ideas? Thank you SOOO much! I'm freaked out!

Have a nice day!

this is very common...it is a strategy by the MUSLIMS to inflate fear in the public...Islamists are not the same today as they were 20 years ago...they now use the Internet to create terror in the minds of youth and slowly they will transform this fear inside you into the message of Islam. they will tell u that u will burn in hell if u donot convert to Islam and u will like many American Muslims have and then they will recruit u into a terrorist organisation and make u attack our Great Homeland!
But we together (ALL NON-MUSLIMS) can Unite and make an aliiance to stop them before they can get to our children!
People in suport of the International Anti-Islam Movement please give me a thumbs up. To HELL with Islam!

yeah nice try gurl !! YOU PUT IT UP FAKER!! Report It

Are you sure it is not a friend or family member having a laugh?,
if you are absolutely sure then maybe try speaking to an admin but it seems strange that an absolute stranger would be able to get so much information about you.

thats freaky. maybe someones playing a trick on you. see if its one of the articles that have "edit this" on it and try to deleate it is all i can guess.

Go to the main page at Wikipedia and click the "Contact Wikipedia" link in the left-hand column. Tell them what you've told us here, and request that they remove the page.

damn 13, 14 bored kids :) LOL....

Go to your article and click on the "History" tab at the top. That will show the IP address (or user name) of the person that made the entry. You can then try a reverse DNS lookup (see the link below).

If you're lucky it might resolve to a domain name owned by someone you know. If your internet connection uses a static IP address and it resolves to that then it's someone in your own house playing a trick on you (to check your IP address open a DOS command shell and enter "ipconfig /all"). If the reverse DNS lookup resolves to an Internet Service Provider (e.g. AOL) then have a lawyer call them and provide them will all this information; internet providers keep track of which users are assigned which IP addresses, and by checking the time that the entries were made on the Wikipedia page they can tell which of their users it was.

contact wikipedia as suggested by Mark F & PR Helpdesk, but I would also contact local law enforcement. Putting up personal information about someone is dangerous, especially for minors. Don't panic too much, it is most likely someone pulling a prank, but you don't want to take a chance on it being a stalker or getting a stalker out of the deal. If it is a prank the person who did it needs to find pranks that don't put their victims in danger like this could, so don't feel bad if they get in trouble for it. Lots of people get seriously hurt by people who thought they were pulling a harmless prank.

Go to your page, click on the History tab at the top and that will show you the history of updates to the page by the user who did the updates.
